Our History & Milestones
- Founded in 1981 by Dr. Ray Schiltz and Jan Schiltz.
- Completed our first Bell-approved job in the early 1980s as we grew into aerospace programs.
- ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation maintained since 1999.
- Expanded into a 27,000 sq ft testing facility in 2015 to scale capacity and capabilities.

- Chemical Analysis: 2 Optical Emission Spectrometers (OES) for alloy chemistry; 4 combustion analyzers for carbon/sulfur.
- Microanalysis: Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for fractography and EDS support.
- Impact Testing: Charpy impact machine (MIST certified) for toughness evaluations.
- Metallography: Full preparation and microscopy lab for macro/micro exams.
- Hardness: Multiple Rockwell/Brinell/Vickers instruments and optical systems.
- Facility: 27,000 sq ft of testing space to handle development through production volumes.
